Ravendale Community, Inc. is a Grassroots Non-profit Organization providing services for the community and is a place where Everyone Has A Right To Have Their Dignity Affirmed . Ravendale recently started a three-day a week After-School program for neighborhood children. More than fifty kids come to the community center for homework assistance, drug prevention and personal development programs. Evidence is mounting that where and how youth spend their time outside of normal school hours has important implications for their development. Ravendale is helping kids and teenagers like 17-year-old Bria, who is facing the emotional devastation of her mother’s battle with inoperable cancer. The Ravendale Community Center provides Bria a safe place for support and growth.
