Parents have asked me “Why should I bring my child to church?” My answer is: Children should come to our church for the same reasons as adults:
Because the church experience speaks to them about their values and beliefs;
Because in our church they feel an acceptance as they truly are;

RE Students Pitch in to Help

Sunday, November 22nd was Fall Yard Cleanup Day, and a good number of our students and their families pitched in to help. Check out the photos on the "Photos" link.

Religious Education News and Updates

LOWER AND UPPER ELEMENTARY STUDENTS AND JUNIORS will be practicing on Nov. 29th and Dec. 6th for our "Festival Of Light" program.  The program will take place on Dec. 13th at 10:30 a.m. Please remember to turn in all student contracts and contact Mrs. Artis if you need help with
costumes. 

UNICEF Collection by our Goblins and Ghosts

Costumed children slipped out of their classrooms on Sunday to collect for UNICEF, an annual effort GPUC has supported for many years. The participating children will take the UNICEF boxes on their Halloween Trick or Treating as well. Collected totals will be announced as soon as they are available.

Religious Education News

LOWER AND UPPER ELEMENTARY STUDENTS on Nov. 15th will be reviewing Beginning Myths: Two Stories from the Hebrews. Nov. 22nd all students will attend the Sustenance Service.

JUNIORS on Nov. 15th will be reviewing Principle #6-To promote peace, liberty and justice for all.
